Support Your Neighbors: Many people want to help, but are unsure of how to do so while staying safe from the spread of the virus. We have activated this resource page to help build a mutual aid network.

Riverside Medical Group is opening up an appointment-only testing center in North Hoboken on Saturday. As of right now, the testing center will conduct testing for Riverside patients only.

Testing Centers

Riverside Medical Group

Riverside Medical Group is opening up an appointment-only testing center in North Hoboken on Saturday. As of right now, the testing center will conduct testing for Riverside patients only.

In order to be tested, you must call 201-863-3346 to book an appointment.

Hudson Regional Hospital

A new testing COVID-19 drive-through testing center will open to the public on Tuesday at Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus (55 Meadowlands Pkwy).

  • Open by appointment by calling 201-388-1097
  • Testing site will be open from 10 am to 5 pm on weekdays
  • Test results will likely be available within3-5 days of testing
  • Appointments over the phone will begin on Monday (23rd)at noon
  • Residents must be exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 in order to be tested

PNC Bank Arts Center

Governor Murphy also today announced the opening of a new COVID-19 testing center at the PNC Bank Arts Center (116 Garden State Parkway in Holmdel)

  • Open starting Monday at 8:00 pm for seven days a week, until supplies last
  • priority will be given to those experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 including cough, fever (99.6F or above), and shortness of breath

Essential Businesses

Restaurants are permitted through delivery and take-out service only, while grocery stores, supermarkets, bodegas, banks, restaurants with food, pharmacies, and coffee shops will remain open until 10:00 pm.

Social Distancing

Activities such as running, jogging, bike-riding, walking, and other similar types of exercise are permitted under the new self-isolation policy, but a social distancing of at least six feet is observed.

The city is permitting garbage and recycling to be put out at 4:00 pm city-wide.

Service except for senior shuttle has been shutdown which will help provide additional travel and delivery of good to seniors.

All day care centers and popup camps are to remain close.

City Hall Services

Services are available by phone, email or online only: To limit travel and congregation within City Hall, and to protect employees, City Hall is closed to the public.

Parks are now closed.

Bars & Restaurants

According to Office of Emergency Management (OEM), any bar or restaurant establishment that currently offers food service will be permitted to conduct food takeout and food delivery service only.

City-Wide Curfew

OEM is implementing a city-wide daily curfew will in effect from 10 pm through 5 am, effective Monday, March 16th until further notice. During this curfew, all residents will be required to remain in their homes except for emergencies, or if you are required to work by your employer.

Little League Parade scheduled for April 4, and the Spring Arts and Music Festival scheduled for May 3 are postponed until further notice.

Hoboken Kings, ShopRite and Acme hosting dedicated times for seniors, pregnant women, and people with disabilities. Kings & ShopRite (7-8am), Amce (7-9am Weekdays only).

Trader Joe’s and Walgreens designated shopping hours for seniors • Walgreens (8 am and 9 am every Tuesday) • Trader Joe’s (8 am and 9 am on a daily basis).

Large Gatherings

Large gatherings, i.e. house parties are strictly prohibited. If you hear a house party or larger gathering occurring, please call the Hoboken Police Department at 201-420-2100.

Street Parking

Meter regulations remain in effect. If you believe your parking ticket was issued in error you can plead not guilty by mail. Plead by mail using this form and mail to Hoboken City Hall. Parking can be paid with the mobile app to avoid touching surfaces.

Street sweeping has been suspended for the week with possible extension to be announce.

No Parking Signs

Temporary no parking signs will continue to be placed and enforced at construction projects (and across the city). Hoboken Parking Utility will continue to honor the no parking signs that have been purchased for moving.

NY Waterway

New York Waterway suspending their trans-Hudson service beginning at 10:00 pm Monday 23rd, until further notice.

Only essential workers should be traveling to New York City, and should plan for alternate methods of transportation

Public transportation and travel by motor vehicle is permitted for essential needs, purchasing of food, care for a family member or friend, to get health care, or employment (when working remotely is not possible).

Tax Deadline

The U.S. Treasury Secretary announced today that the deadline for filing federal taxes will be moved from April 15 to July 15. No interest or penalties will be assessed during this time. If you are owed refunds, you can still file earlier than the original deadline.
