Sun's Out, Pier 13 Opens

The month of May is here and it is finally feeling like summer outside, which calls for a tasty meal from a food truck or refreshing cocktail. So if you have not heard, Pier 13 has officially opened for the season. The gates to the Mile Square’s popular hangout opened on May 1st as the forecast was indeed perfect. On opening day, the Amanda Bananas, Cubano X-press, and Ms. Fu’s Yummy food trucks made appearances. At these food trucks, customers ordered healthy dairy-free ice cream creations, Cuban delicacies, and Asian bites. As for beverages, guests were sipping on White Girl Rose’, Punches, and beers of all kind to quench their thirst while catching up with friends or playing Jenga along with Connect Four.Now that Pier 13 is opened for good, be prepared to satisfy your palette with over the top eats from other food trucks such as Empanada Guy, Mac Truck, Oink n Moo, and more. Activities such as Pet Adoptions, Movies on the Pier, Game Nights, Painting on the Pier among others will be in store as well.With the weather permitting, Pier 13 will be opened Monday through Friday from 4 pm to 11 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 11 pm.[gallery type="slideshow" size="full" ids="14074,14075,14076,14077"]
