May is officially here and many are excited for the upcoming spring and summer events happening in Hoboken this year. A perfect way to ring in the new month and fantastic spring weather is by visiting Hudson Table and BWE Kafe’s Pop-up Cafe.“We first launched a seven-week pop-up on Valentine's Day,” said Owner of Hudson Table, Allen Bari. “We plan on doing a six to eight-week pop-up three times a year, doing this one for seven weeks and again in September for seven weeks give or take.”Bari figured Uptown Hoboken needed a place that made fresh food rather than the pre-purchased packaged foods most cafes offer. He also believed partnering with a like-minded brand such as BWE Kafe would be a great idea since high-quality coffee is made in the coffee shop as it is also a young growing business with owners who enjoy having a good time. The pop-up will consist of delectable in-house specials such as avocado toast, sweet berry toast, breakfast biscuit, croissants from Choc O Pain (1500 Hudson Street), and many more. New menu items for the pop-up are Egg in a Hole, weekly "puff tarts", weekly scone, green salad, pink salad, grain bowl, and the weekly raclette sandwich.“We are looking forward to the weather, outdoor seating, and using our raclette machine to create a delicious roast beef sandwich,” noted Bari. The pop-up is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 7 am to 2 pm for the next seven weeks at Hudson Table (1403 Clinton St).
