Mile Square City's Movies Under the Stars

Summer is not summer without watching a couple of your favorite films under the stars. Grab a blanket, your loved ones, and some snacks because the night is young and what better way to spend your night than by watching a movie under the stars?The movie screenings are complementary and will take place at Pier A Park, which is located on First Street and Sinatra Drive.All movies will begin at 9:00 pm in June and July. As for August, movies will begin at 8:00 pm. If you are interested in the best seats, arriving early is a must. You may bring food, however, alcoholic beverages are not permitted and are subject to a fine. If a movie is canceled due to the weather, the makeup dates will either be Aug. 9 or Aug. 16 and will start at 9:30 pm.The schedule for the movies is as follows:Wed. June 13 – La La Land (2016)Wed. June 20 – Lady Bird (2017)Wed. June 27 – Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017)Wed. July 11 – Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)Wed. July 18 – The Post (2017)Wed. July 25 – The Greatest Showman (2017)Wed. August 1 – The Isle of Dogs (2018)Prior to airing The Isle of Dogs, a live musical performance will be provided by Preschool of Rock at 7 pm.Wed. August 8 – Ferdinand (2017)Prior to airing Ferdinand, activities for children will be provided by My Gym Hoboken at 7 pm.Wed. August 15 – Coco (2017)Prior to airing Coco, activities for children will be provided by My Gym Hoboken at 7 pm.
