Hoboken's List of Delicious Cookies Just Got Bigger

With so many ice cream shops and bakeries in Hoboken, your sweet tooth will most definitely be satisfied. Cookies have been a go-to snack in the Hoboken and Jersey City areas since spots such as Bang Cookies, Baking Mama, Insomnia Cookies, along with others have made quite a scrumptious reputation of the confection every one loves. Cookie options in the area just got better as Hoboken resident Ashley Naftaly launched Kindness Kookies.[caption id="attachment_14149" align="aligncenter" width="559"]

Image Credit: Ashley Naftaly[/caption]"I started to bake cookies and pass them out to people at the gym on Monday's to give them something to look forward to, on a day that is typically seen as unpleasant," said Naftaly. "Going the extra mile to make a friend, or even better, a stranger's day is something that I enjoyed doing every week!"Naftaly has been residing in Hoboken since 2016 and is a Creative Production Manager at a leading national food company in Manhattan. She currently trains at the New York Sports Club in Hoboken as well as at Team Iron Arena in North Bergen since she is a powerlifter whose been competing for about a year and a half.[caption id="attachment_14150" align="aligncenter" width="559"]

Image Credit: Ashley Naftaly[/caption]Kindness Kookies is the sweet tooth's dream as Naftaly utilizes unique ingredients to create these cookies. Ingredients all the way from Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme chocolate pieces, bacon bits, Teddy Grahams among others are tossed into the cookie dough to develop such concoctions.
"My all-time favorite is "Buns of Steel", which is a Cinnamon Toast Crunch crusted cookie stuffed with a Cinnamon Bun Oreo," said Naftaly. "The crazier the cookie, the better!"
Currently, Kindness Kookies are available for purchase at Sauced located at 217 Washington Street where the flavors rotate on a weekly basis. Naftaly is excited to try new flavors each week and is hoping to expand as well as provide shipping to customers outside of the local area soon.

"I'm looking forward to being able to increase donations to Movember to bring awareness to men's health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health," she said.
