Award-Winning Journalist Hosts Book Talk in Jersey City

Acclaimed Journalist and Fashionista Constance C.R. White makes an appearance at the Andcowork space in Jersey City to present her latest book, “How to Slay: Inspiration From the Queens & Kings of Black Style”. "I want to take the message in "How To Slay" all over the country - to have everyone see and enjoy the images and be inspired by the information,” said White in regards to presenting her book in Jersey City. “When Curt reached out to me on Facebook, I was immediately interested."White began her fashion journalism career as a reporter and editor at Women's Wear Daily, a publication considered to be the Bible of the fashion industry. She was also the executive fashion editor at Elle magazine, a style reporter for the New York Times and was the style director for eBay where she developed their first web-zine and began initiatives such as Seventh on Sale online and exclusive designer promotions. White was also the Editor in chief of Essence, where she spearheaded a book on Michelle Obama and covers featuring the first lady, Alicia Keys, Janelle Monae, Olympic gold medalists and LL Cool J.
